Dry volume is split into cement and sand parts based on the ratio. 1 bag of cement is assumed to be 0.0347 m³.

Cement (m³) = Dry Volume / (1 + Ratio)

📋 Worked Example

For 1m³ of 1:4 mortar:
• Cement = 1 / 5 = 0.2 m³ ≈ 5.76 bags
• Sand = (4/5) × 1 = 0.8 m³
