Calculate the total concrete to order when using a boom or line pump, including the volume held in the pipeline.

📐 Formula & Method

Pipe volume is π × r² × length. Total hold is pipe volume plus hopper capacity.

Pipe Volume = π × (Diameter/2)² × Length

📋 Worked Example

For 50m of 125mm pipe:
• Volume = 3.14159 × (0.0625)² × 50 ≈ 0.614 m³
• Total with hopper = 0.614 + 0.5 ≈ 1.11 m³
